Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Aarvin Ventures ("we", "us", "our") operates this website at aarvinventures.com. This is our corporate and consulting website — it is separate from CommCorner and PosCountr, the two products we build and operate, each of which has its own privacy policy covering how the product itself handles data (linked in Section 9).

2. What this site collects

This is a static informational website. It has no sign-up, no account system, and no contact form — the "Talk to us" and "Email us" links simply open your own email client via a mailto: link addressed to sannagiri@aarvinventures.com. We only receive whatever you choose to write and send us that way; nothing is transmitted to us just by browsing this site.

The only thing this site stores on your device is a single preference — whether you last viewed it in light or dark mode — saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not linked to any identity.

3. Cookies & third-party requests

We don't set cookies, run analytics, or use advertising trackers on this site. Loading the page does make a small number of requests to third-party infrastructure needed to render it correctly:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — to load the Fraunces and IBM Plex Sans typefaces used on this page.
• Tailwind CSS (cdn.tailwindcss.com) — the styling library this page is built with.

Your browser contacts these providers directly to fetch those files, which may log standard request metadata (such as your IP address) under their own privacy policies. We don't control or receive that data ourselves.

4. Legal basis

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, any personal data you volunteer by emailing us is processed on the basis of your consent — given by the act of sending that email — for the purpose of responding to you.

5. Retention

Email correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry and for our own recordkeeping, after which it may be deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time (see Section 6).

6. Your rights

As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct, or erase any personal data we hold from your correspondence with us, or withdraw consent to us holding it. Email sannagiri@aarvinventures.com and we'll act on it within a reasonable time.

7. Children's data

This website is a corporate and consulting site intended for business enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children through it.

8. Cross-border data transfer

The third-party infrastructure listed in Section 3 (Google Fonts, Tailwind CDN) may serve requests from servers outside India as part of their global content delivery. No personal data of yours is involved in those requests beyond standard network metadata handled by those providers directly.

9. Our products

CommCorner and PosCountr are separate products with their own data practices, covered by their own privacy policies: commcorner.com/privacy-policy.html and poscountr.com/privacy-policy.html. This policy covers only aarvinventures.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as this site or our practices change. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision.
